The quick catch-up

February

** Nothing noteworthy on the running front this month. Just getting back into the running groove with the Team. No rest for the weary...or the foolish.

March

** Registration for the '07 Nike Women's Marathon opened on 3/1. What a fiasco. The demand was so great that the website crashed. It took almost all morning for me to get in, but managed to sign up. The half marathon sold out within hours and the full not long after. Crazy.

** Went out to support friends running the LA Marathon. Liz was our "miracle" - i.e. training was more of an abstract concept rather than reality for her, but she went for it anyway and FINISHED!

** Supported the TNT Westside Tri team by going to their bachelor auction. It was an entertaining evening, with some ensuing drama, but that story is better told in person...

** St. Patrick's Day 5K - 32:38 - a PR, by just a minute or so

April

** NASHVILLE! What a fantastic city...8 of us made the trip to Nashville, 7 to run the Country Music Marathon/Half. Details to follow in a separate post...

May

** Nothing memorable - just more running, though probably not enough.

June

** San Diego Rock 'N Roll Marathon -- sucked. Details to follow...but it will be brief because I would rather forget that whole debacle.
